Darshan Guidelines

Do's
Dress modestly — men in dhoti/pants+shirt, women in saree/salwar kameez
Remove footwear at the designated area before entering the temple complex
Maintain silence inside the sanctum — observe a reverential atmosphere
Follow queue discipline and respect other devotees
Carry valid ID for Special and Seegra Seva booking verification
Senior citizens and Divyangajan may directly approach the special counter
🚫 Don'ts
Do not carry mobile phones inside the sanctum — deposit at the cloak room
Leather items (belts, bags, wallets) not permitted inside the main hall
Photography inside the sanctum is strictly prohibited
Do not touch the idol or sanctum walls — maintain the prescribed distance
Non-Hindus are requested to observe the temple's traditions respectfully
Do not litter on the hill road or temple premises
Dress Code: Both men and women are required to dress modestly. Shorts, sleeveless tops, and mini-skirts are not permitted. Shawls/veshtis are available on rent at the temple entrance counter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. General Darshan is free and open to all without prior booking. However, during festivals, Fridays, and Amavasya the queues can be very long (1–3 hours). Online booking is recommended for Special Darshan and Seegra Seva for a shorter wait time.
Special Darshan (₹200) offers a dedicated shorter queue with average 10–20 minute wait. Seegra Seva (₹500) is the highest-priority darshan with a 5–10 minute wait and includes prasadam. Both must be booked online in advance.
Yes. Modest traditional attire is required. Men should wear dhoti, mundu, or pants with shirts. Women should wear saree, salwar kameez, or churidar. Shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing are not permitted. Rental shawls and veshtis are available at the entrance.
Mobile phones and cameras are NOT permitted inside the main sanctum (Garbha Griha). A free cloak room is available near the entrance to deposit your belongings. Phones may be used in the outer courtyard area.
Yes. The temple provides dedicated Divyang Darshan (free) with wheelchair access, ramps, and escort services. Senior citizens (60+) have a separate queue and free entry. Please approach the special assistance counter near the main entrance.
Yes. Cancellation is permitted up to 48 hours before the booked slot with a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours attract a 50% cancellation charge. No refund for same-day cancellations. Rescheduling is free once per booking.
Weekday mornings (6:30–9:00 AM) and the afternoon session (3:30–5:00 PM) are typically less crowded. Avoid Fridays, Amavasya (new moon), and festival periods. The first week of the month is generally quieter than weekends.
